How to Change Facebook Feed to Most Recent on App

Facebook, being one of the most popular social media platforms, offers a variety of features to its users. One of the most frequently used features is the news feed, which displays posts from friends, pages, and groups. However, by default, the news feed is sorted by engagement, meaning the posts that receive the most likes, comments, and shares are shown first. If you prefer to see the most recent posts first, you can easily change the feed setting on the Facebook app. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the Facebook app on your smartphone.

2. Tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner to access the menu.

3. Scroll down and tap on “Settings & Privacy,” followed by “Settings.”

4. Under the “Your Facebook Information” section, tap on “News Feed.”

5. In the “Prioritize Who Sees Your Posts” section, you will find the option to “Prioritize Posts From Friends and Pages You Interact With.” If this option is enabled, it will prioritize posts based on engagement. To change this, toggle the switch to the off position.

6. Scroll down to the “News Feed Preferences” section and tap on “See First.”

7. Here, you can manually select friends, pages, or groups whose posts you want to see at the top of your news feed. To see the most recent posts, you can leave this section as it is and scroll back to the previous screen.

8. Scroll back to the main “News Feed” settings screen and tap on “Sort by.”

9. In the “Sort by” section, you will find three options: Most Recent, Top Stories, and Following. To change the feed to show the most recent posts first, tap on “Most Recent.”

10. Your Facebook news feed should now be updated to show the most recent posts first. Enjoy your new feed and stay updated with the latest posts from your friends and pages!
